Based on the Transporter T6.1 base vehicle, Pursuit is offered in both a two-berth (Pursuit 2) and
four-berth layout (Pursuit 4), each available on a short or long wheelbase. Pursuit is equipped with a
bespoke rail-floor system, featuring four floor-bonded rails compatible with a range of accessories
and equipment. A full-width folding rear three-seater bed, manufactured by Mobiframe, is included
with the conversion, as is a 60-litre underslung fresh-water tank, high-pressure shower attachment
and three 20Ah lithium leisure batteries. The setup includes CamperKing's UK-made power
management system, curtains throughout, and a choice of upholstery finishes.
By pulling the three-seater bed forward on the rails, a huge storage area is created at the back of the
vehicle. This area can be used to carry bikes, paddleboards, camping gear, fishing tackle, toolboxes,
building supplies – the list is almost endless.
Pursuit 2 is designed without a pop-top roof. Instead the vehicle can be fitted with an optional roof
rack system featuring a range of equipment from leading overland camping kit manufacturer, Front
Runner, which is part of the Dometic Group. The items include jerry cans, water containers, storage
boxes, and carriers for adventure kit such as paddleboards and bikes.
Meanwhile, Pursuit 4 has a CamperKing pop-top roof, featuring a comfortable mattress providing
two additional berths, for those who plan to camp with family. The roof can be fitted with optional
60W solar panels that provide exceptional power provision when out and about, as well as a half-
roof rack also supplied by Front Runner.
Both models can be further customised, with options such as rear-mounted bike racks, tow bars,
sidebars and hydro-dipped exterior features including wing mirrors and door handles.
Inside, Pursuit does not have the furniture kit and cooking facilities you would expect in a typical
CamperKing campervan. Instead the leisure system is hidden behind an interior panel, meaning
internal space is maximised, and accessories compatible with the rail system, such as jump seats and
modular cooking or washing pods, can be moved in and out of the vehicle as required.
Pursuit is designed to fit around a busy lifestyle, providing a spacious passenger vehicle for weekdays
or a utility vehicle for work purposes, while transforming into the ultimate leisure vehicle at
weekends.
